Capital Risk & IT (NTIC), The Perfect Connection?

The banks prefer to guarantee their loans against tangible collaterals, and do not know how to deal with investment opportunities without such guarantees. It is the experts in offering risk capital and the investments on emerging markets that ensure the success of Silicon Valley. (A. Perez)

Venture capitalists influenced significantly the information and industrial technology revolution of the twentieth century. If we want to make up for lost time in Africa, it would be perhaps time to solicit the creation and access of funds from Capital Risks. The venture capital firms should mitigate the absence of bankers on specific segments such as the investment and the development of information technology.

About Nanga A. Koné

Nanga Koné, is the Treasurer of the Atlantic Bank of Senegal since September 2006. He is managing all credit, liability, and liquidity related operations. Before joining the group “Bank Atlantic”, he worked for five years for the National Bank of Canada as a financial adviser, then as a risk analyst in a trading firm and as a conformity adviser in an investment firm.

He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1999 at the European University of Toulouse, France. Then, he completed a DESS in Finance in 2001 at the University of Quebec Montreal, Canada. Finally, Nanga K holds a Canadian professional title as a "Derivatives Market Specialist (DMS)" from the Canadian Securities Institute.
